Return Policy

We would like you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not, you can return the product to us, and we will repair, replace, or credit your account, subject to the terms below. This policy applies to products bought from Thepe Stores and third-party sellers.
Some parts of this policy do not apply to Unboxed Deals, reconditioned, or used products, as indicated in the relevant sections. Unboxed Deals are returned products offered at discounted prices because their original packaging is damaged, unsealed, or missing, or the products show signs of handling or re-packaging.
This policy is part of Thepe Stores’ Terms and Conditions, and defined terms have the same meaning unless stated otherwise. This policy does not limit your statutory rights.

Preparing Your Products for Return

To ensure quick processing, please:
– Package your products safely and securely.
– Clearly mark your return reference number on the outside of the parcel.
– Include all accessories and parts that came with the product.
– Failure to do so may delay processing or result in a decline.

Unwanted Products

You can return an unwanted product for free if:
– It is undamaged, and unused, with original labels and stickers.
– It is in the original packaging (if applicable) and undamaged, except for unboxed
   deals, reconditioned, and used products.
– It includes all accessories and parts.
– You log a return on the website within 30 days of delivery or collection. After 30
   days, returns are only accepted if the product is defective.
– It is not one of the excluded products listed below.

Defective Products

We aim for high quality, defect-free products. A defect is a material imperfection making the product less acceptable. Examples are in our Help Centre. The following are not defects:
– Normal wear and tear.
– Damage from negligence, abuse, or incorrect usage.
– Electrical surges or sea air corrosion.
– Failure to care for the product.
– Unauthorized alterations.
– Suitability issues, despite accurate descriptions.
– Signs of handling/repackaging for Unboxed Deals or used products.

Warranties

Standard Warranty

Notify us within 1 month of delivery if a product is defective or poor quality (except for manufacturer warranty products). Log a return on the website, and we will collect it for free. After inspection, we will repair, replace, or credit your account within 10 days. For repairs/replacements taking over 21 days, we will offer credit/refund.

Returns outside the 1 month period cannot be facilitated without an extended supplier warranty. Unboxed Deals, reconditioned, or used products are not interchangeable with new products.

Extended Supplier Warranty

Some products have an extended warranty beyond the 1 month standard. Notify us as soon as possible within this period. Log a return on the website, and we will facilitate the return to the supplier for free. The supplier’s terms apply, and remedies are at their discretion. If repair/replacement takes over 21 days, we will offer credit/refund.

Manufacturer Warranty

For products with manufacturer warranties (e.g., Dell, Nespresso, Xbox), contact the supplier directly using the details provided on our Returns page.

1 month warranty

Gift Vouchers & Coupons

There are Fixed Coupons (e.g., R400 off) and Percentage Coupons (e.g., 10% off). If you cancel or return an order paid with a Fixed Coupon, the coupon value is deducted from the refund, and you receive a replacement coupon. For Percentage Coupons, the discount is deducted, and you receive a replacement coupon. Returns paid with Gift Vouchers are credited to your account.

Combination Deals

Combination Deals (products combined by us or you) and Pre-packed Combinations (bundles from suppliers) are subject to return terms:
– Combination Deal: Return the whole deal or individual products. Credit is based on
   the actual purchase price.
– Pre-packed Combination: Return all components together; otherwise, the return
   may be declined.

Charges & Refunds

If you return a defective product without all accessories, we may refuse the return, replace only the item, or credit the value of returned items. Non-compliant returns may incur costs for collection and return. Unclaimed products after 30 days of refusal are deemed abandoned. Donations and goodwill credits are non-refundable.

Refunds are made to the original payment method. For Nedbank Personal Loan payments, validated returns or cancellations credit your loan account or are repaid by Nedbank.
